Description
Traditional with touches of delicacy. That is the composition of Oxford's Mendi collection. The edge of the plates received a decoration in high-relief inspired by the beautiful mehndi or henna paintings, which are traditional and used mainly by women in wedding ceremonies in India. Mehndi is also known as henna painting because the "ink" used is made from henna powder, a shrub very common in hot and dry regions.
Turquoise blue is still in fashion, and this colour's energy promises to invigorate the set table! The Mendi Bay collection is inspired by the sea and the mixture of its majesty and tranquillity. Produced in ceramic, the Mendi Bay dinner set includes shallow plates, deep plates, dessert plates, teacups, and saucers. The shallow dish of the Mendi model is the ideal size to serve the main meals and their complements, while the deep dish is usually used to serve more liquid food. The pieces can be taken to the microwave and dishwasher.
